Join in GetLit!

The GetLit! Festival is a week-long annual celebration of reading and writing in the Spokane region. The mission of this annual event is to advance the arts, celebrate and amplify diverse voices, and empower creativity.

Events are online and FREE! All are welcome to attend, and most events are available to watch on the festival YouTube channel.

Events include:

  • readings, lectures, and on-stage-conversations
  • craft classes
  • writing workshops
  • panel discussions 
  • poetry slams and open mics
  • writing contests
  • book signings
  • visits by festival authors to local K-12 schools and colleges
