Udemy for SCC Students via Spokane Public Library: Access Instructions

All SCC students can access Udemy via Spokane Public Library (SPL). 

You'll need login credentials from a public library in Spokane, then simply visit the library website to find Udemy.

Choose from the following instructions for details on finding, using, and logging-in to Udemy, or for getting your Spokane Public Library login as an SCC student. You do not need to visit the public library in person.

If you have a number + PIN for Spokane Public Library

Go to the Spokane Public Library website.

  1. Click: Research & Learn
  2. Choose: Gale Presents: Udemy
  3. (If prompted to select a library, choose Spokane Public Library)
  4. Enter your SPL number
  5. When in Udemy, you'll need to Create a Udemy account

After doing so, search for the course you're interested in.

  • Example search: AWS Cloud Practitioner

If you have a number + PIN for Spokane County Library

Go to the Spokane County Library District website:

  1. Choose: Gale Presents: Udemy
  2. As prompted, enter your SCLD library card number and password
  3. When in Udemy, you'll need to Create a Udemy account

After doing so, search for the course you're interested in.

If have no library card number + PIN for a Spokane library

A library number and PIN from a public library is needed to access Udemy.

If you don't have one already, here is how to get yours.

All SCC students, regardless of where you live, are pre-approved for a free library card number and PIN from Spokane Public Library. You can you get your number online. You do not need to visit the library in person.
