Visit each page on a specific Exceptional Students group to find information resources books, articles, and websites. You'll also find example sources recommended by your SCC librarians.
Resources all students should consider
Whichever topic you choose, all students can consider seeking information from:
- Books: Information from books, including both encyclopedia entries that summarize your topic and books dedicated to specific topics (like students with autism or classroom management for example)
- Articles in periodicals: Especially articles from scholarly journals of Education, Child Development, and related fields which you find in library databases or other indexes to scholarly journals
- Websites: Trustworthy resources you find on the free internet, especially websites from professional associations

Other types of information sources including text, videos, podcasts, or interviews with experts are fine to use in your research in addition to books, articles, and other information in the college library collection.
